Mammary Papilla Aplasia is a pervasive genetic abnormality among the population of Anigaokiime Island and their descendents. Theories on the social and environmental factors that led to the disease abound throughout science. According to studies, somewhere between 30 to 50 percent of Animesians express this recessive genetic defect. It's believed that Mammary Papilla Aplasia may carry a genetic benefit within the island population where it originated, similar to sickle cell disease arising as a defense against malaria.

Pretty true. Up until about a year back, I don't think I ever saw a single anime male with nipples. Never seen any females without them, but I haven't seen many with them, either, as I don't watch the more inappropriate stuff.

So THAT's why they can get away with it. You'd probably still want to hide the eyes of the little kiddies, though, because "BOOBIES R TEH DEBBUL!1".

Odds are if the anime is going out of its way to expose a characters rack, it's probably some fan boy show played at 2:30 AM. With any luck the children are nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of Pokemon dance in their heads. Kiddies probably shouldn't watch these shows out of principle. They're basically light masturbatory material for college aged guys. Ikki Tousen, for example, is like the anime equivalent to a 30 minute long Girls Gone Wild infomercial. Who wants to explain that to their nine-year old?

That's correct. It's not porn, it's just kind-of-sort-of inappropriate.

I wonder where the courts come down on the subject. How much nippleless breast is acceptable before crossing the indecent exposure boundary?
