To tie in with the game's steam-fantasy theme the client requested that the mechanical devices, like the steam powered gun and hand, use brass and bronze fittings, rather than gold and silvery metals.

A man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman;
But a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist!
That's pretty cool, it turned out really well. It even makes me feel like playing Arcanum again. I always liked technology more than magic for some reason.
Steam punk is an interesting genre, along with retro-futurism. Anachronism is just fun to play with.

I'd say that technology provides a good counterpoint to mages. After all, we can't let magic users have all the fun.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
